Infrared is an electromagnetic wave located between visible light and microwave. With a wavelength range of 0.76~1000 um. Infrared is divided into three wave types: Short, Near and Far Infrared. Infrared found between 8-14 um is Far Infrared. Far Infrared of 8~14um frequency is most optimal. Far infrared waves are thermal. In other words, we experience this type of infrared radiation every day in the form of heat. Unlike ultraviolet light, FIR is harmless to the body.
The Far Infrared rays whose wavelength falls between 4 to 50 microns are commonly known as Biogenetic rays. Biogenetic rays have been proven to promote the healing and growth of living cells especially in humans, animals and plants.Infrared therapy has proven to be effective for the treatment of sub-acute or chronic inflammations, trauma, scar adhesions and nerve pain. It is said that the time taken to feel the effect varies and depends on the symptoms a person may have, and the person's personal health condition. One may start feeling relief from pain almost immediately, while others may take several weeks to notice profound results.
However,it is recommended that anyone contemplating using Far Infrared clothing product or Far Infrared technology contact a physician if the following conditions are recognized:
-When a heart-pacemaker is fitted
-A patient has a high fever,
-Thyroidism,
-Active tuberculosis
-Acne rosacea
-Bleeding wounds,
-Patients who tend to bleed easily
-Pregnant women 3 months or more into their pregnancy
-Serious Cardiovascular disease,
-Cancer Sufferers
-Mental patients
-Liver function anomalies
-Kidney lesions
-Blocked arteries
-High risk patients.
